"Insecurity is the greatest disease of women. It keeps you from yourself, it keeps you from orgasm, it keeps you from prosperity, it keeps you from having fun in this lifetime, which you ARE meant to have."- Guru Jagat
Today, we begin our 8 week journey to connect with our INVINCIBLE SPIRIT. Week One is about releasing insecure (imagined) self- beliefs, and connecting with our basic sense of safety and SECURITY, self-acceptance and that fundamental sense of I AM. This is the first step in developing a strong, confident, radiant Self. So often we hide our insecurities, even from ourselves, because of feelings of shame and vulnerability. So we develop in a lop-sided kind of way, compensating in all kinds of nutty ways to avoid having those tender buttons pressed. Tonight, we will begin by having the courage to rip the band-aid off and have a look at what is underneath. Let's start by accepting ourselves just the way we are and being willing to own it all. Let's begin by starting where we are.
I would like to share a very powerful tool with you to Conquer Your Insecurity: taking a COLD SHOWER in the morning! I know this is a tricky one, and a lot of us would rather do anything else than subject ourselves to a jet of freezing cold water, especially when we are still half asleep, but I promise you, this will change your life! Even if you have a hot shower first, and then turn the cold tap on for the last 30 secs- 2min, you will get incredible benefits from this practice. The cold water opens up your capillaries, flushes out your internal organs, and stops the negative mind in its tracks. It will expand your aura, improve your complexion, and increase your radiance. If you ever feel insecure, anxious or depressed, this is a must. Try it every day for one week, and notice how you feel. You never know, it might become your habit for life!
